Helpful Tips
RESPECT Treating someone or something well
Students are learning how to show respect in the classroom by creating Treatment Agreements. This is a tool used to help students use best practices in showing respect with their words and behaviors at school. Teachers and students discuss what respect looks like, sounds like, feels like between:*teacher to student*, *student to student*, *student to self*, and *student to school*
You can help your student practice respect at home by expecting words and behaviors that reflect how you as an adult want to be treated. Modeling respect is the first step!
